About being our Project and Accounting Specialist

This full-time position as a

Project and Accounting Specialist,will utilize your skills and expertise to support a fast-paced professional team with administrative contract and project support, plus accounting functions that are associated with the various teams and projects. This essential person would be working on multiple projects at a time, working with more than one Project Manager at a time.

This position is available exclusively at the Santa Ana office with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Responsibility Highlights for our

Project and Accounting Specialist

• Preparing project start-up documentation within the accounting programs
• Prepare subcontracts; review, track and coordinate subconsultants invoices ensuring they meet contract requirements and project budgets
• Assist with administering contracts from execution to close out
• Complete monthly project billings in compliance with client and contract specifications
• Resource for project managers regarding the financial aspects of their projects
• Interface with clients to assist in resolving business related issues
• Acquire insurance certificates and other documentation as required by clients
• Facilitate timesheet processing for both office and union field staff (general understanding of union rules and prevailing wage)
• Processing and coding of credit cards and expense reports

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project and Accounting Specialist

• Minimum of 5 years prior general accounting, administrative or related experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work and communicate well with multiple teams, both in an office atmosphere and virtually

Preferred Qualifications for our Project and Accounting Specialist

• Associates degree or higher
• Prior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry
• Knowledge of Deltek accounting software
