Job Title: MTV Scientist

Location: Sanford, NC

Pay Range: Around $40-50/hour

What’s the Job?

• Supports testing including, but not limited to clinical and/or commercial product, validation, and stability samples (as it relates to Method transfer, Validation, and Remediation of methods.

• Analyzes and interprets results, makes decisions regarding the accuracy, completeness and compliance; performs data trending

• Responsible for appropriate creation, review, approval and final authorization of GMP documentation (test results and records, process transfer activities, etc.) and ensuring adherence to regulatory agency requirements, ICH guidelines, Pfizer standards, policies, and values.

• Responsible for reporting issues to management and participating in issue resolution (such as reporting OOS results and participating in associated laboratory investigations, reporting instrument issues and assisting with troubleshooting, etc.)

What’s Needed?

• 3-5 years of quality or laboratory experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with aBS/BA Degree in Science/related field

• 1-2 years of quality or laboratory experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a MS Degree in Science/related field

• Experienced with laboratory practices, good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliance requirements for Quality Control Laboratories, and experience with a wide range of analytical techniques, analytical testing, and use of analytical equipment: i.e. UV-VIS, HPLC, Plate readers (UV), pH, PCR, Elisa, LAL, etc.
