DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and applying primer and paint to parts as specified by instructions and drawings

• Reading travelers and drawings to determine correct materials to be used

• Recording paint mixes; Mixing and applying primer and paint evenly per specifications

• Packaging parts

• Taping parts that are painted with more than one color

• Regularly cleaning paint guns and work space as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Effective communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Familiarity with paint gun

• 3-5 years metal shop/paint experience

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
