Aerotek HVAC Technician / Clean Room Environments in Sandy, Utah
Aerotek is seeking for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Electrician. This is a Direct Hire and not a contract job.
What this job involves -
This position has a focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial HVAC, Refrigeration and Chiller systems at a large manufacturing facility of pharma products.
A very high percentage of “wrench time” and electrical work is expected.
Essential Functions
· Maintain all HVACR and Chiller equipment used to maintain ideal temperatures inside manufacturing clean-room buildings.
· Monitor the operation and make adjustments on chiller, refrigeration, heat exchangers, HVAC, and hot water systems
· Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment.
Qualifications
· High school diploma, GED, or state equivalent. Completion of trade/vocational schooling preferred
· 5 years of experience working as a maintenance-electrician
· Experience with with HVAC, chillers, air handlers, cooling towers at manufacturing or industrial facilities.
· Electrician License in the state of Utah
· Physically able to most of 'wrench work', able to perform most aspects of hands-on electrical work. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Stable work history
Shifts:
Flexible 7am-3pm Monday- Friday, will rotate every 6-7 weeks being on call for 1 week evenings and weekends
Pay: $38-42/hour Direct hire and excellent benefits.
