Gastroenterologist

About this role:

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care and we have a team-based GI practice model with physician, APP, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We will help support you in building your GI practice. 

• This position includes a competitive salary with production incentives, a $50,000  sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a training stipend are also available

• You will practice at Alta View Gastroenterology Group in Sandy, UT with access to a DaVinci robots and privileges at Alta View Hospital (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/alta-view-hospital/)

• The call requirement is 1:4 and will be taken only at our Park City location (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/park-city-specialty-clinic/gastroenterology?utm_campaign=gmb&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=local)

• You will see on average 16 – 22 patients per day in clinic

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Residency training in Internal Medicine

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology

• ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position

• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
