BluePearl Veterinarian -- Urgent Care in Sandy Springs, Georgia
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Sandy Springs, GA is currently hiring skilled veterinarians for our Urgent Care/Fast Track service to help support our busy emergency room. This position can be Full-Time or Part-Time with flexible and adjustable hours. Our emergency department has skilled technicians who will be assigned to the Urgent Care to help facilitate an efficient service with high quality of care.
Previous Urgent Care experience is not required. BluePearl urgent care clinicians receive robust onboarding with virtual modules that cover subjects ranging from treatment of dermatologic urgencies to orthopedic exams to toxicities. You’ll gain the skills and training to walk into your first urgent care shift with confidence.
If desired, you may also enter our Emergency Track, which offers the unique opportunity to further expand your skills to become an ER clinician without the need to complete an internship. The one-year virtual program consists of medical modules that cover a range of emergency topics and wet-lab sessions to practice common procedures. After training, you’ll gain hands-on experience working ER shifts under the mentorship of a senior emergency clinician.
The services and specialties offered at our Sandy Springs location include 24/7 emergency medicine, cardiology, critical care, dermatology and allergy treatment, diagnostic imaging and radiology, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, radiation therapy, radioiodine I-131 hyperthyroidism treatment, radiology and surgery. We also offer several advanced diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities including an MRI, 16-slice helical CT scanner, linear accelerator, fluoroscopy, gamma camera, I-131 therapy, laparoscopic surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, lithotripsy and CO2 laser. We also have a commercial diagnostic laboratory in-house with a clinical pathologist present.
