Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lab Supervisor to join our team and drive excellence in laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, with proven expertise in directing the activities of test technicians. As Lab Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing test execution and guiding a team of technicians to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Execution & Planning:

• Oversee and ensure timely completion of tests, adhering to lab quality standards.

• Provide weekly progress updates on test requests to the R&D team.

• Ensure technicians have received test samples and the test request is completed accurately.

• Track progress of testing to ensure deadlines are met.

Quality Management:

• Ensure that all lab technicians are fully trained and proficient in required test methods.

• Review and verify the accuracy of test reports and data.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of technicians to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

• Provide guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and professional development.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and safe lab practices.

• Manage technicians time and attendance, approving weekly timecards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or associates with equivalent experience

• Experience: minimum of 5 years experience in a lab setting with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in metrology.
