Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read a port-map.

• Ability to operate laptop.

• Have fiber experience (basic handling & running single-mode and multi-mode jumpers).

• Have a good understanding of patching and running fiber jumpers in a data center environment.

  Preferences: The above plus,

• Trouble shooting fiber optic circuits with VFL, power meter, and loop back.

• Spreadsheet experience

  The scope for the Tech-Mod

  team will be;

• Un-rack of old equipment.

• Rack and stack of new equipment.

• Installing or removing circuit jumpers to support new configurations of network equipment.

• Populating switch ports with optical transceivers.

• Boxing and unboxing of network equipment.

• Trouble shooting fiber optic circuits.

• Observing all safety protocols and completing daily reports

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
