At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

Working alongside the Assistant Restaurants & Bars Manager and Food & Beverage Leaders, you will assist in co-ordinating the day to day operations of the Restaurants and Bars across the Resort and on occasion Room Service. From managing inventory and ordering stock, to monitoring rosters and completing time sheet approvals, in this role you will be a go to for the team and manage their performance on shift. You will work in partnership with other areas of the Resort as well as with your dynamic and experienced team to continuously drive and identify product and guest experience enhancement opportunities. You will support the Food & Beverage Leadership team with encouraging and developing the team to deliver branded service whilst promoting the desired work culture.

Day to Day

• Liaise and work collaboratively with Food & Beverage Management regarding daily duties.

• Constructively participate in team meetings, ensuring communication flows throughout the team.

• Support the development of the team to maximise performance and great company culture.

• Ensure guest satisfaction and customer experience by following IHG policies and procedures

• Assist and monitor rostering to ensure all shifts are covered to required level.

• Order inventory based on outlet par levels, assist in inventory-taking as required and assist in resolving discrepancies in inventory.

• Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team.

• Ensuring all ongoing training for Food and Beverage Attendants is kept up to date

• Lead the service period to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently.

• Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Hospitality desirable

• RSA Certificate

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in Bar Supervision.

• Knowledge of wines, beer, spirits and whisky. You will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations, and also have the ability to recommend beverages or any other product, pairing alongside our menus.

• Friendly Persona

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects the high standard of the hotel and the IHG brand.

• Time management skills, delegation, a drive for results and strong employee engagement skills.

• Neat Personal Presentation
