JOB SUMMARYThe Payment Validation Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the validation of payment systems, focusing on reliability and compliance. This role involves collaboration with third-party partners to develop comprehensive test plans, manage testing schedules, and ensure that all aspects of the payment system meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The engineer will lead the testing team, ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the payment systems under various conditions.

Job Requirement of the Payment Validation Lead Engineer:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Payment/Mobile solution testing, with a focus on reliability and compliance testing.

  • Experience in payment systems or fintech industry.

  • Proven experience working with third-party partners and managing external testing resources.

  • Leadership experience in guiding and developing a testing team.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in reliability testing techniques, including endurance testing, stress testing, and fault recovery.

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a prefer.

Job Responsibilities of the Payment Validation Lead Engineer:

  • Test Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement test strategies focused on reliability and compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of testing activities.

  • Reliability Testing:

  • Lead endurance, stress, and recovery testing to ensure payment system stability.

  • Monitor and improve system reliability using metrics such as MTBF and MTTR.

  • Waterproof (IPx)related experience

  • Mechanical life test related experience and fixture design capability

  • Lab management skill-schedule and cost

  • Compliance Testing:

  • Ensuring the product meets the regulatory requirements

  • RE Certification related experience

  • RF performance test

  • Lab management skill-schedule and cost

  • Collaboration & Management:

  • Coordinate with third-party partners on test execution, schedule management, and reporting.

  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, working closely with development teams.

  • Reporting & Review:

  • Review and validate test reports from third parties, ensuring they meet internal quality standards.

  • Identify risks and ensure that all testing activities are completed within the project timeline.

Language Skill of the Payment Validation Lead Engineer:

  • Communication:

  • Must possess proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in working in multilingual environments is a plus.

Mathematical Skills of the Payment Validation Lead Engineer:

  • Analytical Abilities:

  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills to analyze test results, calculate reliability metrics, and interpret data for decision-making.

  • Ability to work with reliability models and perform quantitative risk assessments.

Reasoning Ability of the Payment Validation Lead Engineer:

  • Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to think critically and make decisions in complex and high-pressure environments.

  • Strong capability in managing ambiguity and resolving issues with innovative approaches.
