SAP SAP University Alliances Intern - Associate Program Manager for Latin America and Caribbean in San Pedro Garza Garca, Mexico

What youll do:

Position title: SAP University Alliances Intern Associate Program Manager for Latin America and Caribbean

Location: Mexico, Monterrey

Expected start date: August 2024

We are looking for a committed and passionate intern to support the SAP University Alliances Partners team, located in Monterrey, Mexico, and attending Mexico and LAC North with a broad scope in the whole Latin America and Caribbean Region.

This is a role with high visibility within LAC Leadership team and connected with our global University Alliances Team.

Your role would be:

Assist with the general Program Management of SAP University Alliances Next Gen in Mexico and LAC North, being the right hand of and working closely with our Regional PM for LAC.

  • Engage with our focus universities in Mexico and LAC North, own the projects we realize with them, be their first point of contact.

  • Realize the various tasks related with Program Management, such as ideation, planning, work structure, task assignment, execution, orchestration, communication, etc.; for the localized projects.

Closely engage with the local members and assist on supporting the Ibero-American SAP Next Gen Community, host on-premise meetings for the localized community in Monterrey

Be the first contact of new prospecting Universities and Academic partners in Mexico and LAC North

Communication with SAP UA customers (professors and students) of Mexico and LAC North via remote calls and on-premise site visits

Assist on all levels of organization of internal and external events and trainings in Mexico or LAC North (invitations, speaker assignment, room renting, catering, communication, security, etc)

Assist on running remote, hybrid and on-premise events and trainings in Mexico and LAC North.

Cross-organizational communication within the broad University Alliances Team and other SAP teams (eg HR, Events, Communications, Facilities, IT, etc)

Generaly connect SAP with Universities, Customers and Partners.

What you bring:

Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • No previous formal job experience is required.

  • A true interest in working with the educational ecosystem in Latin America and Caribbean.

  • Be currently enrolled in a Mexican higher education institution (Bsc, Msc, PhD), no preferred course.

  • Fluent English and Spanish

  • Portuguese is a plus

  • Be aware of Project Management best practices and tools.

  • Previous experience managing projects and programs is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office 365 package

  • Can-do attitude

  • Ability to work across functions, regions and countries virtually combined with excellent interpersonal and cultural intelligence skills
