Description

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to support our reputable municipalities client in San Marcos. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of accounting work, record keeping, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out technical duties in maintenance of accounts and financial records.

• Compile fiscal data and assists in the preparation of budget estimates.

• Prepare financial and statistical reports as required.

• Execute accounts payable and receivable functions.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Technician or similar role.

• Familiarity with common financial systems and government accounting standards.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting software.

• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
