ADI Global Distribution, a Resideo company, is looking for an experienced UX- User Experience Designer as an essential member of the growing ecommerce based Digital Experience team.

You enjoy designing user experiences that provide simple, elegant and efficient end-to-end solutions to delight and exceed customers’ expectations. If you have a track record of aligning your work with business priorities, engaging customers, enhancing the brand, researching, strategizing, presenting and executing for responsive web and mobile applications — all within a growing ecommerce-driven environment — we have a space for you on our UX design team.

Your portfolio should demonstrate creativity, collaboration, strategy, conceptual thinking, branding and execution of comprehensive UI/UX design, information architecture and customer journeys/flows for ecommerce digital product and marketing initiatives all with the user in mind.

JOB DUTIES:

• Design and execute compelling end-to-end human-centered experiences for ecommerce websites, mobile apps and other customer touchpoints such as kiosks and webinars

• Create and translate wireframes into simple, intuitive and easy-to-use user interfaces for responsive websites and other digital platforms

• Ensure consistency of brand and creative look/feel across all digital customer touchpoints

• Manage, produce and execute digital design assets, including sizing and versioning of your work

• Coordinate with our development team to ensure timely delivery of assets and ensure product quality

• Participate in developing/maintaining asset libraries of UI components used across the website and apps

• Design with accessibility standards in mind

• Translate project requirements, industry trends and customer needs into elegant design solutions

• Research customer habits, competitors and use analytics to help build your strategic designs

• Approach designs in a manner that finds the balance between customers, business objectives and technical capabilities

• Work within and help refine our corporate UI design guidelines

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 3 years of successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or inhouse web team for an ecommerce product-driven business

• Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to complex business problems and user flows through effective design

• Proficient at using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Workfront and Jira

• Knowledge of digital and print design/production principles

• Prior experience with advanced usage of the English language inclusive of written and verbal communication.

WE VALUE:

• Being up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies

• A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates strong visual design skills

• Experience creating storyboards, concepting and improving user process flows, as well as other design artifacts

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user experience interaction across touch points and systems

• Able to present concepts and lead stakeholders to the correct solution in a compelling way

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in a collaborative environment

• Proven ability to follow brand guidelines and work within templates where applicable

• Experience with publishing web content via CMS tool such as Optimizely Spire is a plus.

• Experience designing emails and/or landing pages in a marketing automation (ERP) system

• An eye for selecting engaging, appropriate images to accompany text

• Strong work ethic and personal accountability with a professional demeanor

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
