Wells Fargo Senior Software Engineer in SAN LEANDRO, California

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Branch Enablement group as a part of Consumer Technology to design and develop web application using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience in below skillsets, training, military experience, education in the below skillsets:

  • 4+ years of experience using .Net Core, ASP.Net, Entity Framework using C#

  • 3+ years of using Java Script technologies like React/ Angular/ JQuery

  • 3+ years of using Database skills including SQL (Oracle, SQL Server)

  • 1+ years of experience using automated test script development/ usage with Java/C# and Selenium.

  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud service

  • 1+ years of experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC for inter-service communication.

Desired Qualifications:

  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Working knowledge with NoSQL databases (Mongo, CosmosDB)

  • Knowledge and understanding of TDD, BDD

  • HTML 5 and CSS experience

  • Working experience in Agile/Scrum teams

  • Familiarity with data-processing, data integration, and event-driven architectures using Kafka

  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics, Splunk

  • Experience with Microservices architecture.

  • Working experience with deploying application using DevOps tools, Hashicorp and Terraform.

  • Experience with Azure Cloud experience creating, deploying, and managing web apps, jobs, and services using CI/CD pipelines and Application Insights.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$100,800.00 - $179,200.00
