SOL Engineering, LLC PM (QC Manager, Contract Manager, Alternate Contract Manager) in San Juan, Puerto Rico

SOL Engineering is seeking qualified candidates for QC Manager, Contract Manager, and Alternate Contract Manager to join our team in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Island. The QC Manager, Contract Manager, and Alternate Contract Manager should have a four-year degree in business, engineering and/or related technical field and a minimum of five years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, and/or related technical field; or a minimum of fifteen years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering and/or related technical field. The Government expects Program Managers to be able to manage scope, schedule, budget, and expectations to facilitate any action from inception to closure by tasking, tracking, and supporting. The Government expects Contract Managers and Alternate Contract Managers to be able to manage the development and execution of a contract from inception to closure by tasking, tracking, and supporting. QC Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee quality control processes to ensure products and services meet established standards.

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.

  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.

  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

    Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Alternatively, a minimum of fifteen years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Open to residents of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands only.

Contract Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and execution of contracts from inception to closure.

  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and compliant with organizational policies.

  • Track and monitor contract performance, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure contract compliance.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of contract documentation and correspondence.

  • Address and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.

    Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Alternatively, a minimum of fifteen years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Open to residents of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands only.

Alternate Contract Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Contract Manager in the development and execution of contracts from inception to closure.

  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

  • Help track and monitor contract performance, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure contract compliance.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and correspondence.

  • Step in for the Contract Manager as needed to address and resolve contract-related issues or disputes.

    Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • At least five years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Alternatively, a minimum of fifteen years of experience in a responsible role in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
