Oriental Bank Analyst, Customer Intelligence (QA / Testing) in San Juan, Puerto Rico
The Analyst, Customer Intelligence (QA / Testing) is responsible for ensuring the quality of changes crafted by the Operational Excellence team by identifying errors and bugs and ensuring smooth implementation of the expected outcome of the initiatives. This position is hybrid and is based in our Oriental Center facility in San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts. Assist the Implementation Manager in the development of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform both manual and automated testing to verify functionalities.
Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies and escalate accordingly.
Collaborate with developers to understand the requirements and design test plans.
Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, information systems, or similar field required.
1+ year of experience in related QA / Technical Testing role within a finance services company required.
Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
IBS Insight proficiency is highly preferred.
Card Management, Infinity, Base 2000 expertise desirable.
Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks and applications using Agile methodologies. Preferably experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
Learning agility that enables a broad, enterprise-wide knowledge of software programs & automation options enabling systematically streamlined solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization (this includes written and verbal communication).
