Emerson Global Sales Incentive Compensation and Price Realization Director in San José, Costa Rica

As a Global Sales Incentive Compensation and Price Realization Director, you will own the ongoing analysis and continual improvement of Emerson’s Sales Incentive Compensation program and Price Realization performance! This role will work with Business Group/Unit and World area Finance and sales teams to analyze the Sales incentive compensation operating model and function to ensure it is meeting our company objectives! This role will also assist the Price Council, Business Group/Units, and World Areas in measuring Price Realization and efficiency of price programs, processes, and tools.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Sales Incentive Compensation Operating Model, including oversite of ICM Plan Administrators and ICM Analyst Groups:

  • Analysis of total cost quarterly to ensure SG&A costs are in with expectations and pay-for-performance is achieved;

  • Analyze the pay-for-performance results each year, by sales role and region, and make recommendations for changes to compensation formulas or designs;

  • Ongoing review of Incentive Compensation KPIs and related Data Lake(s) to ensure measures are actuated, automated into ICM, and accurate per Compensation design requirements;

  • Review performance of Quota / Target setting process and toolsets. Develop new or revised processes, tools, or other changes to support accurate and timely quota/target setting and opportunities for automation into ICM;

  • Become proficient in ICM module administration including manual uploads as required;

  • Support the ICM Product Orders organization and assist the leadership of the evolution of its capabilities and global roll-out;

Price Realization and Support of Price Council:

  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with Price Council leaders and members and involved in Council activities;

  • Work with Finance teams to develop Price realization standards, metrics, and dashboard;

  • Collaborate with Business Units and World Areas to analyze the efficiency of Price Realization strategies and processes. Make recommendations for improvement or price realization opportunities;

  • Complete roadmap for Price Automation processes and Tools;

  • Work with World Areas with Price Realization exhibits and preparation for Value Creation Conferences (VCC).

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; (Financial Management, Economics, Business Administration, or similar relevant field); MBA preferred but not required;

  • Proven experience in data analytics, finance, sales compensation, and sales operations a plus;

  • Proven experience in working with complex data sets and mixed reporting models;

  • Familiarity with business practices across international regions within an organization;

  • English advanced level;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • MBA Preferred but not required;

  • Experience in working within a matrix organization would be a plus.
