Strategic Sr Technology Specialist

Position Profile

The Strategic Sr Technology Spec executes the core equipment and basic services strategy inside assigned accounts working with Client Executive in Strategic and Enterprise Accounts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with Client Executive to execute equipment and basic services strategy within an assigned account.

• Independently drives customer engagements, meetings, and develops opportunities using SMEs and other skilled assets to position, propose and close deals.

• Efficiently qualifies opportunities and develops proposals that meet/exceed customer requirements.

• Craft and position the Ricoh portfolio

• Assess the fit and affordability with the customer

• Understands and leads the pricing, proposal and negotiations.

• Propose, sell and deliver profitable CORE equipment and basic services.

• Works collaboratively with matrix teams to provide a quality deliverable to the client.

• Uses collaboration to build trust, confidence and influence with client.

• Clearly articulates Ricoh's position in the industry and value to the client.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field.

• 5-10 years experience selling into F5000 companies.

• Proven consultative selling skills.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong negotiation selling skills.

• Savvy understanding of customer approval processes and internal processes.

• Knows how to sell service annuities and how to use change orders effectively.

• Demonstrated success with using collaboration to build influence.

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Core product and services portfolio.

• Able to comfortably develop and deliver the value propositions independently.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.

• Stays current with changing trends in the market.

• IT savvy with Enterprise Architectures.

• Strong learning agility.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands

• Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

• Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction · prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

• Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity · regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.

• Travel required (approx 30%); may include overnight travel.
