Robert Half Sr. IT Auditor in San Jose, California
Description We are looking for a Sr. IT Auditor to join our team in San Jose, California. As a Sr. IT Auditor, your role will involve assessing the risks associated with technology use, facilitating the successful completion of project work plans, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and professional associates, and contributing to a positive team culture.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct IT audit engagements and prepare necessary audit deliverables
• Identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiency within the organization
• Facilitate the successful completion of project work plans and take responsibility for decision-making in areas such as project scope and work plans
• Utilize IT audit methodologies including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
• Comprehend and adhere to the provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Contribute to a positive team culture that fosters open communication among all team members
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and professional associates
• Stay current and build skills in all areas of evolving technology
• Coach and mentor Interns and Consultants to facilitate their learning and development
• Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT auditing or related field.
• Proficiency in conducting audit engagements.
• Ability to interpret and communicate audit findings effectively.
• Experience in developing comprehensive audit plans.
• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and processes.
• Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Experience in Business Process Design (BPD).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
• Proficiency in using audit software and other relevant IT tools.
