Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Technical Writer to support Stryker’s Endoscopy Business Unit within the Endoscopy Division.

As the Senior Technical Writer, you will develop, design, and create product documentation in standard industry authoring programs or in company-specific software. This role evaluates medical device labeling for compliance to international regulations.

What you will do:

  • Lead special projects in sustaining/remediation projects and projects relating to product compatibility, international markets, operations initiatives, and acquisition support

  • May support NPD projects as needed

  • Produce and maintain product documentation including but not limited to regulatory claims, design specifications, instructions for use/installation/service, marketing/sales materials, training materials, proposals, reports, and on-line help

  • Research, write, edit, compile, revise, and review end-user documentation, both print and on-line

  • Provide writing, editing, and electronic publishing services to product teams/departments

  • Focus on harmonized content across special projects to improve team authoring efficiency and reduce publishing costs

  • Coordinate documentation with project, regulatory, engineering, test, and operations teams

  • Create effective graphics, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documentation

  • Edit and proofread technical materials using standard editing marks

  • Analyze documentation products and generate initiatives to improve quality, reduce customer service costs, and decrease customer support calls

  • Participate in divisional CAPAs, NCs, and other cost-improvement projects that involve labeling evaluation or redesign

What you need:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of technical publications/writing experience

  • Proficient in XML content management and authoring

$58,700.00 - $118,600.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
