Principal Product Manager

Job Description

As a Product Manager at Renesas' Memory interface product division, your goal is to secure design wins for our key and strategic customers.

We are seeking an individual who has a strong desire to interact with our customers and sales team, promote our product, and emphasize our leadership position in memory logic products.

Innovation, enthusiasm, and the drive to win are among the most important qualities for this position, as well as a strong team mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling design win content for the current and upcoming memory logic products working with architecture and planning.

  • Actively promote Renesas products to customers, internal sales teams, and distributors.

  • Identify strategic opportunities in closely working with key memory eco-system players such as Intel, Samsung, Cloud Service Providers, and other controller vendors such as AMD and ARM.

  • Provide technical and sales training to distributors.

  • Perform top-down and bottom-up market analyses on existing and new markets

  • Develop business plans to forecast and drive increases of design wins and net revenue worldwide.

  • Generate market communication materials: sales and marketing promotional collateral and training collateral, including ad copy, press releases, articles, brochures and other print pieces, and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Influence x-functional team with customer feature requirements, develop clear marketing requirements document (MRD) and product requirements document (PRD)

  • Work with design, product, and test engineering groups to support the product throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • BSEE or equivalent required, MBA or Masters in Engineering Management desirable

  • 15+ years’ experience in product marketing, management, or planning

  • Solid product management and marketing experience of enterprise silicon products , with a good understanding of Signal Integrity products and memory products.

  • Semiconductor Product planning , technical marketing or application engineering experience, technical knowledge and skills within the specific areas of mixed-signal, logic or SI products.

  • Understanding of distribution sales and how to motivate and incentivize demand creation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers, sales force, peers, and management

  • Understand the semiconductor product lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical and business skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Up to 50% travel required

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $191K - $287K. This position is also eligible for STI bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
