Micron’s Global Communications & Marketing (GCM) organization is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join its Planning and Operations team as a full-time employee who will split their time equally between the roles of Project Management Operations and Operations Program Manager!

This dual-role position requires a dynamic individual who can lead multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and operational excellence!

Role and Responsibilities:

Project Management Operations (50%)

  • Request Intake: Intake and assign new requests within GCM.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports. Prepare and distribute regular project status updates to collaborators.

  • Resource Management: Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure hours and resources are supervised within Workfront. Monitor resource utilization and raise any issues that arise.

  • Process Improvement: Find opportunities to improve project management processes. Maintain the best protocols and standard operating procedures to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Partner Communication and Feedback: Serve as a point of contact for customers seeking information about program and project management functions. Solicit and compile feedback after each program or project via surveys and debriefs.

  • Project Management (as needed): Develop and lead plans, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and deliverables. Communicate project progress status and mitigate risks. Facilitate meetings, including kickoffs, status updates and debriefs.

Operations Program Manager (50%)

  • Operational Excellence Forum: Organize and coordinate GCM’s Operational Excellence Forum, a quarterly discussion forum for team members to learn about standard methodologies and processes across the organization. This includes finding and scheduling topics, increasing engagement and assisting with presenter preparation.

  • GCM Connected: GCM Connected program, which involves coordinating team-building and volunteer events and communications aimed at fostering a connected and engaged GCM.

  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Own the internal onboarding/offboarding processes for GCM employees. Ensure that new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization and that departing employees have a detailed transition.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to operational programs, including the Operational Excellence Forum, GCM Connected and Employee Onboarding & Offboarding. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations as needed.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights

  • Focus on continuous improvement and quality

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

  • Proven success working with all levels of management and partners

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, prioritize and drive initiatives with multiple deadlines

  • Agility and speed in decision-making and execution

  • Collaborative attitude and comfortable taking an iterative approach

  • Proactive in seeking information needed to close gaps

  • Ability to generate creative solutions

  • Advocate DEI

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, project management

  • 3-5 years in project management, operations, or a related role

  • Project management tool experience required, i.e. Monday.com, WorkFront, Asana, etc.

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2, is a plus

  • Knowledge of organizational change principles and marketing operations

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$79,000.00 - $178,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
