Role Description:

This role is part of the HQ Workplace Services (WS) team and, more specifically, the Moves, Adds, & Changes (MAC) team reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Office Services & MAC Planning. As a Workplace Services Lead, you will directly manage all internal event setups and projects as necessary by partnering closely with the WS Events team, onsite vendors, various WS staff, and other key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for identifying, implementing, documenting, and updating service levels, standard operating procedures, operational efficiencies, training manuals and other program documents.

What type of impact will you make:

Success will be measured by your overall impact on providing outstanding event support, project execution, and program management by:

  • Leading all daily event & meeting support operations including; planning, communication and execution

  • Maintain, uphold, and develop meeting/event space standards using data from prior setups, room capacities and furniture availability

  • Identifying, maintaining, and keeping clean event storage spaces

  • Build & lead instructional training programs as needed

  • Partner with key collaborators to understand new event business requirements, improve efficiency, and implement new project and event procedures

  • Develop reporting methods in salesforce to supervise and improve performance by defining, tracking, and analyzing event and project metrics

  • Develop strong positive relationships with key team members to maintain event setup and project standards

  • Identify health and safety hazards, repair and maintenance issues, and taking appropriate action to remedy findings promptly

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while handling high volumes of events and projects

  • Plan support for multifaceted events for salesforce innovation center and premium event spaces

  • Works independently, self-motivated and resourceful

  • Able to take charge of challenges with internal & external business partners to navigate ambiguity

Is this you? To apply you need to have:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability leading support for corporate projects, meetings, and events

  • Availability to work extended hours to support projects and events that may be before and/or after hours

  • Experience maintaining a large volume of daily cases and completing all cases within the team’s defined service level agreements

  • Ability to complete and manage last minute requests

  • Vendor management experience

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds or more of equipment and furniture
