The CBRE’s Design practice, is currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for the Bay Area. CBRE's Design practice has an opportunity for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our in Bay Area office. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to work on complex mechanical building systems for large commercial, public and industrial projects. What you’ll do

• Prepares mechanical designs and perform calculations in support of large commercial and industrial projects – both renovation and new construction.

• Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility.

• Assist the Senior Engineer with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval

• Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.

• Prepares scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors.

• Assists Senior Engineer with construction administration duties and conducting periodic on-site observation of work during construction to supervise compliance with plans.

• Advises integration of technical activities and products including the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, studies and reports.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's Degree or master’s degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience required.

• PE License

• Experience with Revit is strongly preferred

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Sr. Mechanical Engineer position is $150,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $200,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
