The Marketing Compliance & Data Operations team oversees the data used across the business and impacts to the organization to ensure that data meets compliance requirements. We are looking for a rockstar senior data analyst to support global privacy compliance initiatives and data governance activities.
You are organized, innovative, and are comfortable with working with compliance and various teams to diagnose complex problems and develop compelling, data-driven recommendations. You will facilitate an ongoing evaluation of company practices and maintain internal documentation to ensure continued global compliance. Support data governance activities by establishing automated queries and dashboards to drive proactive monitoring and informative insights. Contribute to Compliance processes by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards. You will complete assurance reviews and testing activities, logging and identifying bugs.
You will effectively work and communicate collaboratively/cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies, offer a strategic perspective and sound business judgment, and be agile and quickly adapt to changing priorities. You have a hands-on approach to data analysis, strong intellectual curiosity and attention to detail and organization, and a passion for achieving practical business impact. You will utilize your strong communication, analytical and troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify opportunities for improvement and propose new strategies.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
2-4 years of data analyst experience, preferably supporting a marketing organization(s)
Marketing compliance experience and familiarity with GDPR and data privacy requirements
Proven track record of driving results and building effective relationships with all levels of management
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results
Experience auditing and monitoring marketing data and programs to proactively identify and address areas of potential risk
Modeling, analyzing, prioritizing and improving processes using data driven decisions
Reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, performing data quality checks, and following up with stakeholders on data issues
Establishing metrics, building dashboards, tracking trends, and providing insights into the performance of compliance operations and high risk areas
Strong communications skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story using data
Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and effective organization
Organized, responsive, and able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage flawlessly to timelines and milestones
Data focused and analytical with attention to detail and accuracy -- # Hashtag your favorite non-profit organization on your resume
High energy with the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong Microsoft Excel and Google slide skills
DemandTools, Dataloader, Alteryx a plus
Experience in developing reports in Business Objects or similar enterprise data warehouse reporting tools a plus
Tableau, SQL, SOQL, AmpScript a plus
