Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be tasked with managing various financial aspects, including customer credit applications, credit records, and customer inquiries. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and handle customer credit applications

• Maintain and manage comprehensive and accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required

• Oversee month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion

• Manage general ledger and reconciliations

• Maintain and update fixed assets schedule and debt schedule

• Handle accruals and ensure they are accurately recorded

• Oversee inventory reconciliations and ensure all transactions are correctly categorized

• Supervise AP and Staff accountant managing Payroll and GL Accounts

• Ensure the accuracy of all journal entries

• Utilize NetSuite for all accounting operations. Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or a similar position.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is crucial for this role.

• Demonstrable experience in balance sheet reconciliation is required.

• Experience in conducting bank reconciliations is necessary.

• Familiarity with general ledger operations is expected.

• Capability to prepare and analyze journal entries is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for managing and interpreting data.

• Familiarity with month-end close processes is required.

• Experience with NetSuite accounting software is desirable.

• Proficiency in asset inventory management is expected.
