About the Role We’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead our Operations feature development and validation of the world’s first purpose-built, mass produced autonomous vehicle. As an integral member of our Go To Market team, you will be responsible for developing innovative technical strategies that reduce costs, translating those strategies into feature requirements, prioritizing features for development, and coordinating with Engineering to ensure the delivery of features through robust validation.

What you’ll be doing:
Develop technical strategies to reduce operating and capital expenses by unlocking vehicle, infrastructure, and operational efficiencies
Work across Go To Market teams to set product-level requirements for operational features that streamline operations and reduce costs
Set feature priority and timing to drive effective scoping, commitment, and development with Engineering teams in accordance with program milestones
Lead operational validation program to rigorously test and ensure timely delivery of operational features, development of SOPs, and vehicle introduction readiness
Evaluate and secure staffing, equipment, and training needs for operational validation
Maintain strong relationships across vehicle development stakeholders, including OEM partners
What you must have:
5+ years in engineering roles related to product or vehicle development
Ability to understand and communicate clearly complex technical systems to executive-level audience
Excellent program management skills
Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus
Operate with a high level of autonomy with a proven ability to juggle numerous activities and projects
Ability to adapt, operate, and act decisively in an ambiguous environment
Strong analytical skills
MS or PhD in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field
Experience with robotics, connectivity, networking, autonomous vehicles, or complex electromechanical systems
Experience with vehicle development at automotive OEMs or tier 1 suppliers
Proven track record delivering innovative solutions to technical challenges
