About this role:

This is a XD Senior Lead Content Designer role for Consumer Digital Channels.

The Wells Fargo Experience Design (XD) team designs experiences that people love and confidently engage with to improve their financial lives. We work closely with Technology and Product Management to ensure we are problem-driven (versus solution) and customer-first. While we have individual expertise across product design, research, content strategy, and design operations, we all operate as empowered leaders with strong design rationale. As a team, we care about each other and believe in radical candor, want to have fun while we work, and are obsessed with what's most important to our 30+ million customers and incorporating their voices into every decision!

The Experience Design Senior Lead Content Designer , leads content design and user experiences across our products, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks in partnership with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to deliver the end-to-end experience.

In this role, you will:

• Write compelling copy for a complicated and highly personal space - financial institution experience is not required

• Leverage research data to build solutions that balance the needs of our users with our business goals

• Be an excellent presenter, who can sell ideas, create coalition, and build support

• Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style

• Offer content design perspective throughout the product development process, influencing strategic decisions to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Graphic or Website Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Think at a systems level to turn complexity into simple experiences

• Enjoy working across lots of different functions

• Love the practice of content design, and care about the details

• Bring clarity to your teams through design and product best practices

• Represent content design as a role that impacts the entire product, well beyond the words

Job Expectations:

• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

• This position is a hybrid work model and will not be a telecommute position. Must be willing to work out of Charlotte, NC, New York, NY or San Francisco, CA approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:

• Charlotte, NC: $111,100 - $197,500

• New York, NY: $133,300 - $237,100

• San Francisco, CA: $133,300 - $237,100

Pay Range

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
