Introduction to the team

We are currently seeking an Internal Audit Senior to be part of our Health Care Consulting (HCC) practice. This area of the HCC practice provides internal audit and customized business solution services such as risk assessments, assessing internal controls, operational effectiveness, and efficiency reviews. Our HCC practice also provides unique opportunities to work with C-Suite executives around process improvement, conducting interviews with process owners, documenting risk and controls, and reviewing or documenting policies and procedures. Responsibilities :

  • Strong motivation to meet client deadlines, provide excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information, systems, and business processes, while drawing logical conclusions

  • Analyze large amounts of data for accuracy and root cause analysis

  • Written communications such as client correspondence, memoranda, and working papers that document the procedures performed and conclusions drawn

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong ability to multitask, juggle multiple clients, and manage various deadlines

  • Attention to detail while reviewing work, mentoring/managing staff

  • Demonstrated skills in effectively working with all levels of management

  • Willingness to increase level of technical competence specific to the health care industry

  • Ability and experience in evaluating risks and controls. Ability to develop audit programs and/or detail work plans in areas not previously audited

  • Motivate and encourage others to enhance teamwork

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to research complex issues and provide recommendations for consideration internally

  • Ability to complete drafts formal reports including risk assessments, audit plan programs, and internal audit reports

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Two years of experience in external or internal audit, internal control testing and documentation, internal control assessments, and report writing required

  • Previous experience in auditing or reviewing business processes, analyzing business risks, implementing new compliance and accounting standards and risk assessments required

  • Intermediate word processing and spreadsheet knowledge and skills

  • Ability to work with data analytics software, ACL preferred

  • Recent Internal Audit experience preferred

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
