Title: Senior Fund Accountant

Location: San Francisco – 2 days/week, sometimes 3 days

Salary: $115-145k + Strong Bonus + Equity + 100% paid benefits + 5% 401K Contribution

About the Company: Leading, global private equity firm with approximately $10+ billion in regulatory assets under management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fund and GP general ledgers, including recording of quarterly expense, accruals and intercompany payables/receivables, and investment transactions and allocations to limited partners.

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Work with the finance management team to ensure accurate and timely audit and tax filings.

• Monitor cash position for assigned funds and calculate, record, and process fund and investment capital calls and distributions.

• Review various reporting packages, support the management team, mentor and coach junior members of the team, and interface with Investor Relations to respond to limited partner inquiries.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3.5+ years’ experience in Tax/Audit/Fund Accounting ideally for Private Equity or similar.

• Degree in Accounting, Business, or Econ – Big plus with strong GPA.

• CPA Certification.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

• Excellent time management / organizational skills.
