Stratasys is a world leader in 3D printing.

The successful QA candidate will join as the first QA professional with a small software team developing a web application and firmware for interacting with a first-rate 3D printer designed for mass manufacturing. This role will work closely with the software development team to help quickly identify and resolve software quality issues, and actively participate in improving the QA process, test tools and manual/automated test cases. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a software QA role with a proven track record in both manual and automated testing. The successful candidate will also show the strong desire to produce world leading software products. Daily work will be as part of a multi-disciplinary team working in a continuous integration environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing an Automated Software test system, and automated tests for software release candidates and Continuous Integration.

  • Manual testing of software release candidates, including creating new test plans and exploratory testing.

  • Prioritize testing to meet the needs of the team

  • Drives improvements. Develops and improves tests.

  • Assesses and improves test error.

  • Stays up to date on new test equipment and analysis methods.

  • Proactively improves our processes.

  • Consistently follows procedures for documentation and document storage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • 2+ years testing experience in a Software Testing Quality Assurance role

  • 2+ years experience with issue/defect tracking system, such as Jira

  • 2+ years experience with exploratory testing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An understanding of Software Development and deployment Best Practices.

  • Experience in software testing methodologies and Best Practices.

  • Must be passionate about quality and detail-oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience using continuous integration tools

  • Experience implementing test frameworks

  • An understanding of CAD/Manufacturing/3D Printing

  • An understanding of UI design and Usability
