Job Description

The Mutual Fund Trading Process Analyst is responsible for advising on the operational aspects of mutual fund post-trade clearing, with a specific focus on processes involving the DTCC.

Key Responsibilities: The consultant will work closely with engineers, reviewing the trading, transfers, dividend distribution, and other processes in the programs that Hamsa has developed. Key areas of focus will include:

  DTCC-related processes, including working with the Fund/SERV, Networking, and MFPS services.

  Sub-accounting processes and best practices.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related.

  Experience in financial institutions back office operations with a focus in mutual fund, post-trade reconciliation.

  Knowledge of DTCC's mutual fund services such as Fund/SERV, Networking, and MFPS.

  Knowledge of mutual fund transfers.

  Expertise in the end to end trading process including trade execution, transfers, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.

  Understand current workflow for mutual fund transactions including purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and dividend distributions. null
