Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate who can support a Loan Closer based in San Francisco, California. The role entails a range of responsibilities related to loan document review for various loan types, client inquiries handling, loan closing, and assisting with loan audits as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan documents for boarding all loan types including commercial lines of credit, term loans, commercial real estate loans, and residential and consumer loans

• Respond to client inquiries regarding payment/advances and payoff requests in a timely manner

• Order and obtain necessary documents for loan closing and resolve processing issues

• Handle commercial and consumer loan closing and funding

• Order and obtain tax and flood services, UCC searches, insurance

• Review disbursement applications and controls for construction loans

• Carry out other loan closing duties as needed

• Assist with loan audits as required

• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with the company's documentation standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a loan closer support or similar role

• Experience in data processing and documentation

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience with closing documents and closing processes

• Demonstrable understanding of compliance regulations related to loan closing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
