Robert Half Entry Level Accountant in San Francisco, California

Description We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. As part of our team, you will be tasked with updating and managing client information, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will also be responsible for working closely with Project Managers and vendors to ensure proper payments are being made.

Responsibilities:

• Update and manage client billing information as required

• Prepare wire transfers for submission to the bank and confirm all bank account details verbally for each wire

• Enter and oversee reimbursable charges as needed, including for international shipping or custom invoices

• Complete and submit retail certificates to vendors upon request

• Maintain the flow of paperwork from initial proposal through purchase order for each project, including distribution and file management

• Prepare and post client payments and other checks

• Process project payable vendor invoices and reconcile specifications, maintaining a clear paper trail for all proposals

• Generate checks for all project and operation-related expenditures on a bi-weekly basis

• Submit a monthly journal of all accepted invoices for review

• Work with the Director of Operations on various month-end reports and monthly reviews

• Reconcile Work in Progress (WIP) and Vendor/Client Deposits

• File Sales Tax Reports and complete Power of Attorney Forms as requested by teams

• Prepare Employee Travel Reports for review by Director of Operations. Requirements • Possess skills in Account Coding and Account Analysis

• Proficient with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat is desirable

• Familiarity with Dynamics NAV and ERP Solutions is a plus

• Able to perform Accounting Entries and Accounting Functions efficiently

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Must have excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
