Motion Recruitment Partners Director, Strategic Accounts in San Francisco, California
Motion Recruitment Partners is currently hiring for a new Director, Strategic Accounts. Due to the explosive growth in our Enterprise Contract Staffing line over the past few years, we are currently hiring a Director of Strategic Accounts for our Enterprise IT Staffing team.
The Strategic Account Department is responsible for the revenue expansion for some of Motion’s most visible (and often largest) national enterprise clients. To succeed within this department, you must display excellent ability at developing and championing relationships with external stake holders as well as our internal delivery leadership. In addition, all team members within Strategic Accounts must exercise meticulous organization and thought leadership towards the planning and execution of future client growth strategies.
Partnering with Motion’s VP of Strategic Accounts, the Director of Strategic Accounts objectives are to serve as an executive sponsor at assigned accounts, while directly influencing Motion’s wallet-share growth by cultivating high-value client relationships and continuously identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings.
The Director of Strategic Accounts should have an interest in Program Management as responsibilities include managing multiple client strategies simultaneously with the intention of improving our internal workflow efficiency & overall client performance.
In this role you will:
External Project Management:
Direct oversight of national strategic clients (3+ Client Accounts).
Serve as Motion’s executive sponsor for each assigned account.
Develop and expand key relationships with identified client & MSP stakeholders.
Forecast upcoming project staffing needs and drive client business development strategy.
Attend key meetings to include (events, score carding, vendor forums, key stake holder meetings and/or escalation request).
Ensure satisfactory candidate coordination, submittals, interviews, offer negotiation and onboarding with client thru assigned Account Managers and delivery teams.
Ensure client compliance and SLAs are met via dedicated & assigned delivery teams.
Represent the voice of the customer to Motion leadership, and lead initiatives such as client networking events and virtual/in-person engagements.
Become a subject-matter expert on client departmental & management layout, operational procedures and practices pertaining to hiring.
Leverages relationship with client leadership/MSP leaders to identify opportunities for expansion to new programs/categories. Conduct cadenced calls with client stakeholders to maintain & grow relationship.
Travel quarterly to grow network and enhance relationships.
Internal Program Management:
Build client expansion strategy plans in cooperation with assigned Account Manager(s) and Delivery team(s).
Lead cross-functional efforts between Motion’s assigned strategic delivery team, field recruitment, offshore delivery, and Account Managers to build an optimal delivery approach that ensures successful fulfillment to the client.
Conduct quarterly reviews of MRP delivery strategy, client scorecards, retention, and overall health of the client relationships.
Track and report on account (plan) progress.
Train staff and ensure compliance for client VMS and SOP (standard operating procedure) when applicable.
Work with recruitment teams and HR to ensure compliance for client audits.
Propose new strategies to Motion senior leadership based on market opportunity/demand.
Ideally you will have:
5+ years selling to enterprise clients within the Staffing industry.
Illustrates key strategic skills:
Communication skills are of high quality and cadence.
Illustrates a long-term strategic planning approach vs purely transactional mindset.
Proven track record in:
Strong client facing sales experience with client leaders + MSP’s.
Advanced in the art of capturing referrals to win new business/relationships.
Project Management in a recruiting environment (both clients and staff).
Strong desire to learn, or prior experience building programs to help drive operations.
Effective using market intelligence to improve overall delivery strategies.
Experience working in a fast paced, competitive, goals-oriented environment.
Experience servicing enterprise level accounts as team manager, account manager, etc.
Proven process facilitator (ex: client/candidate engagement, valuable advisory work, expert communication skills,
strong follow through, excellent negotiation and closure skills).
Familiarity working with VMS systems.
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills cross functionally within a staffing organization.

Ability/Desire to travel quarterly.
Bachelor’s Degree (required).
