Job Information
Lyft Director of Product, Driver Earnings in San Francisco, California
At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization..
We collaborate to identify new ways to create a platform that serves the drivers’ needs. With each rider and driver we connect, we’re changing the way our world works. We imagine a world where cities feel small again. Where transportation and tech bring people together, instead of apart. We see the future as community-driven — and it starts with you.
Driver participation on the platform is integral to its health. Drivers choices for when and where to drive depend on their ability to earn while having safe and, hopefully, fun experiences. The Driver Earnings team is responsible for designing and implementing the structure for how drivers earn on the platform. Last year, we were proud to launch our Earnings Commitment (https://www.lyft.com/blog/posts/early-2024-driver-release) to drivers followed by improvements (https://www.lyft.com/driver/release) in how drivers earn when stuck in traffic or when a rider wants a ride out of a busy area. We believe that with transparency and policies that reflect driver feedback, we can be the platform of choice for rideshare drivers.
We are now seeking our next Director of Product for the Driver Earnings team to build upon our recent incredible success and be responsible for maintaining a unifying vision across the ways in which a driver can earn as well as working with adjacent teams responsible for mapping, dispatch, and the driver user experience to develop incentive structures and experiences with positive feedback loops.

Guide and interface closely with data science, analysts and engineers to review and refine scope and technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities
