About the Role:

As a CBRE Design Consultant you will manage the design activities related to construction and other projects for small to medium sized clients.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications to internal and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare design specifications based on project requirements and client requests.

  • Act as point of contact for all client inquiries. Ensure projects are successfully completed within budget and timeline.

  • Assist management with business development efforts.

  • Manage key aspects of the project process including design quality, financial management, client satisfaction and team management.

  • Conduct design reviews with management to identify innovative solutions.

  • Review and interpret contracts and related documents. Assist with the creation of procurement and construction budgets.

  • Prepare project proposals and suggest adding services with review from studio and project leadership.

  • Oversee quality assurance and compliance processes within the project schedule.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. NCIDQ or NCARB certification preferred.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
