Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate Attorney with a real estate litigation firm based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will handle various aspects of litigation, from case management to court appearances, and will have the opportunity to specialize in San Francisco housing law. This role provides the chance to work in a dynamic team environment where you will have the ability to handle cases independently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cases from intake to conclusion.

• Draft pleadings and respond to discovery requests in a timely manner.

• Attend court appearances, hearings, settlement conferences, and trial calls.

• Utilize excellent research and writing skills to provide comprehensive legal advice.

• Maintain strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient case management.

• Apply knowledge in Unlawful Detainer, with the opportunity for further training in this area.

• Display the willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new areas of law.

• Prioritize and multitask effectively to meet all case deadlines.

• Demonstrate a proactive approach in managing cases and making court appearances.

• Operate independently while maintaining a collaborative approach within the team.

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

• Experience or familiarity with Unlawful Detainer law

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal skills.
