ADP Senior Manager, Strategic Compliance in San Dimas, California

In this role, the Senior Manager Strategic Compliance Delivery is a key member of the Tax Compliance Team and will directly lead a complex team, overseeing strategic business analysts, technical writers and content developers including but not limited to researching, solving, and preventing negative downstream impact from compliance led changes/initiatives related to employer tax reconciliation, remittance, and reporting within our tax systems, influence business partners/units payroll changes and partner in release management with our technology divisions.

This position involves a high level of quantitative and qualitative analysis, risk management, problem-solving, project management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across our Tax organization and broader ADP. As a Senior Manager of Strategic Compliance Delivery, you will cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and partners, including external clients and workers, other senior leaders, and staff members. The nature of the position involves actively planning, executing, and oversight of multiple projects at one time and disseminating information across all levels of the organization.

What you'll do: Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Responsible for the management responsibilities of direct reports from a development, responsibilities, expectations, performance, administration, etc.

  • Strategic Consultation: Designs and develops client engagement strategies to support long term client retention and business growth. Identifies client business needs and correlating PEO solutions for client success through internal consultations with HR Business Partners, Key Account Executives & Client Relation Executives

  • Industry Analysis: Use internal and external tools to understand market and industry trends to improve individual, work group, and/or organizational results; use understanding of major business functions, industry trends, and client organization's position to recommend effective business strategies and/or tactics.

  • Revenue Generation: Is responsible for the needs analysis and presentation of new and optional products and services to the client base which can help the business reach its revenue goals and further add to the overall value proposition and client experience of the base.

  • Financial Analysis: Conducts financial analyses of client relationship and provides to internal service team with perspective on the value of services provided, as needed.

  • Maintain strong relationships with compliance management & government affairs leadership.

  • Deliver metrics that provide data for processes with compliance maintenance and enhancement projects.

  • Serve as the liaison among various departments in Tax and broader ADP to ensure compliance initiatives are managed efficiently/on target within Tax. Serve as the conduit between Product/Tech, payroll system partners, Client Service, and Compliance leadership, to seamlessly execute product and policy changes with minimal disruption.

  • Strive towards continuous efficiency improvement by identifying processes that can be automated, prioritized based on impact/effort and drive them to completion.

  • Interact with key stakeholders to understand requirements, business impact, and their outcomes. Collaborates with organization’s operational leaders and business units to gather all business requirements to support business incidents, and/or strategic initiatives.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE : Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in payroll tax filing/compliance change management/process improvement/project management/operations.

  • Experience with in-depth data analysis experience, including curating, analyzing, and presenting data.

  • Leadership experience (managing multiple employees and providing guidance to larger groups of associates).

  • Experience noted above, OR typically requires BA/BS or equivalent in education/experience.

  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $80,700.00 - $163,800.00 / Year
