We have contract positions forYouth Monitorslocated in the San Diego, CA area.
The Youth Monitor assures the safety and security of unaccompanied female minors, 13 - 17 years of age, placed in an all-female-only US government temporary housing facility. Facility Hours of operation are 24/7. Available shifts are included below.
Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere in the temporary housing environment.
Remain vigilant while observing unaccompanied minors by never leaving them unattended or out of sight.
Keep supervisor informed of needs and potential problems in assigned areas.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service-partner protected health information and other applicable information and material according to agency and center policies and applicable regulations and laws, including HIPAA.
Must be a US Citizen
Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to stand for entire duration of shift (8-hours)
To maintain a safe environment due to facility being deemed an all-female-only unaccompanied minor facility, we can only consider female applicants at this time.
Candidates must pass a thorough background screening that includes Criminal/Civil court searches for all previous addresses in the last seven years.
1st shift - 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM - $25.00/hr
2nd shift - 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM - $26.25/hr
3rd shift - 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM - $27.50/hr
