Insight Global Treasury Specialist, Cash Management (hybrid) in San Diego, California

Job Description

A top employer in the mortgage industry is seeking a Treasury Specialist, Cash Management to join their team based in San Diego, CA. This position is primarily focused on cash management activities and will involve working in the office 3 to 4 days per week.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Treasury Specialist plays an important role in the organization by performing several tasks directly related to the companys Treasury functions. Under general to direct supervision, this role is primarily responsible for receiving, logging, and distributing Finances mail on a daily basis. It also involves researching and coding checks received by the cash management group, as well as preparing various accounting reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  Receive, log, and distribute Finances mail on a daily basis.

  Prepare daily cash position reports and organize cash flow support.

  On a weekly basis, prepare notes not sent to the bank report.

  Log and code checks received by the cash management group, including processing title checks to corporate.

  Conduct payoff settlement confirmations with brokers and submit wire requests (three times a month).

  Perform low activity bank/liability reconciliations on a monthly basis.

  Administer appraisal payment sites (Speedpay).

  Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

  Work independently when in the office, collaborating with one other team member on-site.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:

  Predominantly in-office in San Diego, CA, 3 to 4 days per week.

  Flexible hours with a start time between 6 AM and 8 AM.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience may qualify without a degree.

     - General knowledge of accounting principles including debits and credits, reconciliations, balance sheets and income statements

     - Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge - VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, etc.

     - 1+ years' professional experience working within the mortgage industry (some flex based on experience - Working knowledge with Encompass, Loan Vision, AIQ, Banking and warehouse websites, and any other relevant systems/platforms (loan origination software) HIGHLY PREFERRED

     - Experience with financial reporting null
