Kforce Technical Project Manager in San Diego, California

Kforce is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for an enterprise client who is offering solutions to consumers all around the world in San Diego, California (CA). This position will need to eventually come onsite in San Diego so you must currently be in the area or be willing to relocate. This is an amazing opportunity for a technical project manager to drive initiatives from the ground up. This PM will be in charge of ensuring that the proper project plan is built, laid out and fits within the portfolio's scope.Project: While working on this project you will be asked to perform the below duties and additional duties upon requestResponsibilities: * Prepare for a new initiative that is going to hit multiple workstreams, business units, stakeholders and create change * Help ensure the proper architecture is being built out from the beginning and is technically capable of meeting all the stakeholders wants/needs * Develop critical deliverables, budget, resources, and any additional support required for this set initiative * Work cross functionally with complex leaders in the organization * Ensure any delays are being addressed, communicated timely and have a mitigation plan * Ensure there is a plan and process to ensure this initiative was successful * Account for any change management that might need to be driven due to this new initiative * 5 years of experience working as a project manager * Proven ability to build out an entire new initiative that is going to involve cross functional teams and stakeholders * Experience working for an organization where this might be a new mode/change/something that is different from the rest of the people there * An agent for change * High communication skills - written, verbal and presenting * Ability to command confidence of a room * Strong budget management * Ability to negotiate while also problem solving * Able to effectively resolve conflicts Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
