Noblis Surface Ship Logistical Analyst in San Diego, California

Responsibilities

The Surface Ship HM&E Logistical Analyst will support the Surface Ship harvesting events in support of the NAVSEA Surface Ship Readiness Directorate.

The Noblis MSD Logistical Analyst will provide Logistical support for the Surface Ship Harvesting project for NAVSEA PMS 421 Directorate. The candidate will execute the following responsibilities/duties:

  1. Develop, maintain and update a Critical Spares inventory database for CG and other Surface Ship Class harvested material.

  2. Apply current Supply standard concepts and methodologies to research and update Integrated Logistics Supply (ILS) information for CG and other ship class systems and equipment in support of harvesting events.

  3. Utilize the various Naval Supply database systems (LogiQuest, MBPS, Haystack, One Touch, etc.) to document new and repair costs information for ex-CG Class ships.

  4. Utilize Noblis MSD digital technology tools to develop a program to track harvesting assets for warehousing, inventory management and distribution to repair companies for restoration to Ready for Issue (RFI) status.

  5. Utilize logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement to support enhancements to the Surface Ship Harvesting Program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree inSupply Management/Logistics or similar field + 10 years of experience (see below regarding experience)

  • OR a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in lieu of degree.Supply Management/Logistical field.

  • OR HS diploma and 12+ years’ experience with Configuration Technical Data or prior Naval Service Storekeeper/Logistician experience onboard surface ships.

  • 10-12+ years of documented Supply Management and Administration expertise in Navy Supply Logistics.

  • 8-10 + years of experience with shipboard configuration (MBPS formerly CDMD-OA) and other Naval Supply System databases (One Touch, LogiQuest, Haystack, etc.).

  • 2-4+ years of experience working with or at naval supply industrial activities or facilities.

  • Employee must have an active Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

  • Candidate should have extensive experience and be well versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Candidate must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior naval Logistician/Storekeeper experience perferred

  • Configuration Technical Data Manager certification preferred

  • Prior naval experience preferred

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $56,000.00 - USD $87,500.00 /Yr.
