Intuit Staff Program Manager in San Diego, California

Overview

In this role you will directly contribute to this effort by managing our programs and projects aimed at simplifying everyday tasks, so our employees can focus more of their time on helping our customers.

As the Staff Program Manager, you will work closely with GBS leadership and the Intuit tech team to drive GBS programs forward, spanning process improvements, policy redefinitions, operational readiness and technology configurations and implementations. The individual in this role will need to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout Finance and Intuit and work as a team player. We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence without direct authority, lead programs end-to-end, and deliver outcomes with speed and scale.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience and 7+ years experience driving complex programs across multiple business/functional units; leveraging industry best practices required. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other applicable industry certifications preferred.

  • Proven track record program managing the successful delivery of company-critical programs for a large company

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with communicating effectively and concisely through multiple channels to all levels of an organization, from senior executives to front-line managers

  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take ownership, respond quickly, and have excellent follow through skills

  • Ability to develop strong relationships, manage conflicting stakeholder interests, and influence stakeholders at all levels in a cross-functional environment

  • Ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, and execute with limited information and ambiguity

  • Passionate about delivering for customers to drive business success

How you will lead

  • Drive, own and communicate program strategy on behalf of program leadership. Use influence to help teams understand how the program fits into overall Employee Experience strategy.

  • Develop strong relationships with the business/functional units to understand their goals, mission and business drivers and provides continuity with those groups

  • Build strong partnerships with external policy making bodies and third-party solution providers needed to fulfill business/functional and strategic objectives

  • Maintain and manage the program and project plans, using data, principles and risk mitigation to assess progress to plan.Identify and mitigate project risks.

  • Ensure program deliverables are completed on time and within budget

  • Establish metrics to monitor program health and improvements

  • Drive the status and reporting structure to wide-ranging audiences, ensuring everyone is well-versed in the strategy, plans to execute, and status across all functions

  • Develop decision-making principles, make recommendations on resolution paths, and lead discussions with senior stakeholders to address program performance challenges.

  • Communicates knowledgeably and articulately with individuals at any level in the organization both verbally, in writing and via presentations
