We are looking for a SR CNC Programmer! Are you able to provide your engineering capability to operational and development programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects? Do you enjoy utilizing engineering and problem solving skills.? You will also be accountable for delivering robust, capable manufacturing process technology as it applies to materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly. If this sounds like you, please !

salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring compliance with the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards.

• Technical expertise at a local project level in governance and deployment of manufacturing development and integration for production within GKN Aerospace.

• Provides technical expertise to rapidly solve issues pertaining to vendor schedule and/or quality.

• Breaks down technical problems, risk, opportunities, in the correct order to create products and add value to GKN Aerospace through creating Zero Defects

• Leads positive, team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers

• Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.

• Provide local project technical oversight for the development of NC Programming solutions to complex problems through:

• Implement the global process to create NC Programs, from original concept through to production.

• Develop NC Programming solutions for high degree of process capability utilizing the Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) tool suite to demonstrate as such.
