Job Summary:

Perform component level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on failed electronic circuit boards. Manage all technical aspects of MRB electronic failures including reviewing trends to facilitate corrective actions for non-repeat quality issues, understanding the fundamental aspects of each circuit board to communicate detailed analysis to Engineers, and understand the link between circuit board and system level failures.

Responsibilities:

• Test PCA’s for pass or failure reporting

• Troubleshoot the PCA to component level

• Perform root-cause analysis of electronic circuit failures

• Conduct top down troubleshooting from system level down to component level

• Ability to read component datasheets and schematics at a Senior Tech level to understand how component characteristics impact the circuit functions

• Work with engineering to troubleshoot defect issues

• Control and Manage inventory for the failed PCA and System, those are physical transfer to MEE group.

• Monthly report the amount in MEE-MRB activity.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering degree desired.

• Able to read Schematic.

• Some level of computer management.

• Some level of programming language LabView, Visual Basic, Visual C, SQL database.

• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office product

• Understanding of technical math - basic algebra, basic geometry, basic trigonometry

• Basic understanding of statistical techniques.

• Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Salary range:

$71,000.00 - $113,500.00
