Job Description Summary

The Senior Director of Marketing, Infusion Solutions, US Region will lead developing the vision, multi-year growth strategy and annual marketing plans design and execution to meet business goals for MMS Infusion Solutions in US Region. The position will work in close partnership with US MMS Sales Leadership and the Global Marketing teams to ensure that short and long-term growth objectives for the MMS Business are achieved. The role is responsible for $1.2B annual estimated revenue within the US market segment and accountable to deliver above market growth. The Senior Director of Marketing, Infusion Solutions, US Region will lead developing the vision, multi-year growth strategy and annual marketing plans design and execution to meet business goals for MMS Infusion Solutions in US Region. The position will work in close partnership with US MMS Sales Leadership and the Global Marketing teams to ensure that short and long-term growth objectives for the MMS Business are achieved. The role is responsible for $1.2B annual estimated revenue within the US market segment and accountable to deliver above market growth. The position leads a team of marketers and reports to the Vice President of Marketing, MMS, US Region.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Day to day US Region marketing leadership responsible for meeting growth targets for Infusion Solutions comprised of BD Alaris System, including software, service, consumables, and solutions.

  • Create and execute programs to support above market growth rates to deliver on BD Annual Strategic Review (ASR) commitments.

  • Partner with Global Platform Marketing on market development initiatives while driving the adoption of new enhancements and other innovations through full marketing launch support plans. Provide Voice-of-Customer (VOC) and input into future product development roadmaps.

  • Leverage and expand third-party strategic partnerships to drive growth in joint solutions such as BD Alaris Interoperability, Analytics, and Consumables.

  • Partner across the broader BD organization to position and grow end-to-end infusion solutions.

  • Coach and develop the marketing team to ensure best practice usage of the BD Way of Marketing, while also acting as the VOC for the US Region.

  • Identify new business opportunities and target accounts. Develop marketing programs to retain and increase penetration in existing BD customers and convert competitive accounts. Measure and track program effectiveness and marketing return-on-investment.

  • Effectively leverage digital marketing programs and Business Development Representatives (BDR’s) to deliver Sales Qualified Opportunities, considering a full omnichannel approach.

  • Partner with Sales Leaders to drive sales process rigor, training, and funnel management to drive profitable growth. Remover barriers and help with objection handling.

  • Leverage value-based pricing strategies, creative go-to-market models, and contracting excellence to accelerate sales growth and profitability. Partner with pricing strategy teams.

  • Responsible for monthly demand forecasts, quarterly financial forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year strategy plans. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Operations to ensure timely and accurate communication of sales forecasts and key drivers of performance.

  • Identify, maintain, and help cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, professional associations, and the MMS customer advisory board. Be on site with customers to gather insights and inform marketing plans.

  • Partner with clinical marketing and customer partnerships to identify synergies with IV workflow and maximize key customer engagements.

  • Maintain and track market share of category and stay on top of changing market dynamics.

General Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner and collaborate to drive key strategic and tactical marketing initiatives; sit on MMS USR Marketing Leadership team

  • Partner and collaborate across all BD Business Units (BUs) to drive key strategic initiatives

  • Manage and optimize expense budgets to achieve business goals and objectives.

  • Drive effective associate engagement including rewards & recognition

  • Effectively lead Infusion Solutions Marketing talent management efforts to ensure required human resource capabilities are in place to execute strategies; including talent retention, coaching and development.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Be the advocate of strong customer focus as a cornerstone of solution strategy and deployment, including value proposition development, needs identification, training development.

  • Engage and activate the Sales force and customers to drive and adopt strategic initiatives, with a bias towards responsiveness.

  • Be agile and perform other related duties as assigned by the VP.

  • Flexibility to travel within US to other BD locations and customer sites up to 25% of the time.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required / Master’s preferred

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience within relevant marketing roles

  • Experience working in healthcare industry required, capital experience preferred

  • Acute care medication management experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights and measure marketing effectiveness

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven track record of presenting ideas effectively across different audiences

  • Proven leadership abilities and people management skills

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of organization

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and complexity

$181,300.00 - $326,300.00 USD Annual
