ASM Global Security Supervisor in San Diego, California

The Full-Time Security Supervisor will supervise the Pechanga Arena San Diego 24/7 Security Officers and any other positions required during events. This position reports directly to the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all 24/7 Security Officers are following and completing the policies and procedures of daily duties as detailed by the Security Manager

  • Creates detailed reports for all incidents that occur on-premises

  • Conducting weekly audits of Security Department documentation

  • Ensuring all Security Department documentation is neatly and accurately filed

  • Creating a monthly 24/7 Security Officer shift schedule

  • Conducting a weekly inventory of all Security Department supplies

  • Conducting daily inspections of all Security Department equipment

  • Submitting weekly summaries of 24/7 security operations

  • Patrolling all areas of the property including parking lots, securing property ingress/egress points, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises

  • Securing property during move-in/out of all shows, concerts, events, etc.

  • Conducts routine property walks throughout the facility

  • Conducts inspections and audits to assure the quality of service to personnel

  • Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees professionally

  • Appropriately deals with "unruly" people

  • Works independently, and can judge and assess situations for immediate response

  • Responds to emergencies while maintaining composure

  • Ability to work morning, day, and overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or its equivalency

  • 2 years of related work and supervisory/managerial experience

  • An understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes

  • Ability to lead employees to successfully meet Security Department goals

  • Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner

  • Ability to maintain good business relations with all the employees & managers in other departments

  • Ability to effectively perform in a crisis and work under pressure without loss of composure

  • Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information

  • Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons, etc. during intensely aggravated circumstances

  • Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality

  • Must have a current BSIS California Guard Card
