Robert Half Marketing Communications Coordinator in San Diego, California

Description

We are in search of a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team in the hospitality industry, located in San Diego, California. This role involves a mix of project management and administrative tasks, with a focus on updating and managing marketing assets. This position provides a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage various marketing projects such as updating menus, wedding brochures and other collateral.

• Undertake administrative tasks to support marketing efforts.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud and InDesign to update templates and create visually appealing designs.

• Proofread and rewrite content to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

• Coordinate onsite photoshoots, including scheduling and arranging necessary props.

• Collaborate with the PR team to set up influencer media visits, including coordinating amenities and room reservations.

• Leverage your experience with Content Management System (CMS) and CRM to update websites and manage customer interactions.

• Plan and execute promotional email campaigns to drive brand awareness.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts and address any issues or inquiries promptly.

• Participate in budget processes and campaign planning to ensure effective use of resources.

Requirements • Proven experience in Marketing Communications or a similar role within the Hospitality industry.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud for creating engaging marketing materials.

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and CRM databases for managing and tracking marketing campaigns.

• Ability to create and manage editorial content for various marketing channels.

• Experience in creating effective advertisements for different platforms.

• Strong blogging skills to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

• Familiarity with brand awareness strategies and their implementation.

• Understanding of budget processes within marketing departments.

• Proven experience in campaign planning and execution.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field would be advantageous. Innovation starts with people.®
