General Summary:

Responsible for HVAC maintenance and repair related to commercial systems. This includes but is not limited to Air Handlers, VAV units Fan Coils, Boilers. DX and package units, Exhaust Fans, CRAC units, Centrifugal Pumps. Air Cooled and Centrifugal chillers, Centrifugal pumps, Cooling towers, Compressed Air systems, Variable Frequency Drives and Building Automation Systems.

Proficient in the latest repair and maintenance techniques related to this equipment.

-Basic computer skills needed to navigate our systems.

-Willing to be on an 24/7 “On Call Rotation”.

-Clean DMV record.

-Willing to drive personal vehicle to complete daily assignments.

Skills/Experience:

-Ability to accurately troubleshoot and identify temperature issues, equipment failures and condensation leaks through the buildings.

-Ability to navigate and control HVAC units and devices through the Building Automation System.

-Ability to read and understand commercial building blueprints.

-Interface with internal customers and relay information related to the systems affecting their comfort.

-Interface contractors, consultants to provide specific information related to a project or issue, and recommendations.

-Should also have basic electrical skills and knowledge related to HVAC systems..

-Willing to assist with other issues related to building operations and maintenance.

Additional Skills:

Computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point,

etc.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of Maintenance Technician or related work experience.

Pay range:

$26.70 - $40.04

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
